Role Overview:
The structural engineer will be responsible for the design and development of windmill steel towers, crane structures, and pre-engineered buildings. This role involves working closely with the design, project management, and manufacturing teams to create cost-effective, safe, and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design windmill steel towers, crane structures, and PEBs using advanced structural engineering software.
• Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure designs meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and manufacturers to ensure the practicality and feasibility of designs.
• Review and approve design drawings and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards, including relevant codes and regulations.
• Work on the optimization of structural components for cost efficiency and durability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in structural design, preferably with a focus on windmill towers or related steel structures.
• Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
• Professional certifications (e.g., Chartered Engineer, PE) preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed designs for windmill steel towers, crane systems, and pre-engineered buildings (PEBs).
• Conducting feasibility studies and structural assessments ensures that designs meet client specifications and safety standards.
• Prepare design calculations, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Collaborate with the project management and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless execution from design to installation.
• Provide technical support during the construction and assembly phases.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and best practices in structural engineering.

Desired Knowledge and Skills:

• A strong understanding of steel structure design principles and construction practices, with a focus on windmill towers and cranes, is required.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro, and similar tools.
• Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and design optimization.
• Knowledge of wind load analysis and relevant design codes (e.g., IS, Eurocodes).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2-4 years of experience in structural design, preferably in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of complex windmill tower structures, crane systems, and PEBs from concept to completion.
• Oversee the structural analysis, design calculations, and ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (construction, manufacturing, project management) to ensure project success.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate existing structures and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in structural engineering and materials.

Desired Knowledge and Skills:

• Extensive experience (5+ years) in designing steel structures for windmills, cranes, and pre-engineered buildings.
• Expert knowledge of structural design software such as STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, and similar tools.
• Strong understanding of seismic and wind load analysis, as well as design codes (IS, Eurocodes, AISC).
• Ability to perform advanced structural analysis and optimization of designs.
• Experience leading and managing teams of engineers.
• Project management experience and ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field; Masters is a plus.
• Professional certifications (e.g., Chartered Engineer, PE) are highly preferred.
